Message from Head Prefect
Greetings, Wahyanites!
On behalf of the Prefects' Board, I would like to wish all of ou a fruitful academic year of 2017-2018.
The board has been maintaining discipline for years, while maintaining the bonding between each and every Wahyanites as a gentlemen, who are self-disciplined and respectful.
Wah Yan is a place where students enjoy freedom and rights to be an individual. However, some students are easily defeated by indulgence. Among all, self-discipline is the most important foundation of freedom. ‘One’s greatest challenge is to control oneself’. That’s why we will be here, to walk through all obstacles with you until you overcome your greatest challenge in life.
Over the past half century, Wahyanites are companions of the board. It’s not simply because of the brotherhood upheld in Wah Yan but also our ways of communication. To be specific, we do not wish to force any student by giving out penalties. Yet, we would like to be role models for students and to gain support through benevolence.
We wish to ignite the elements that all students possessed to be a fine gentlemen. Therefore, feel free to approach anyone of us to express your concerns. We will surely give you a helping hand.
Be a self-disciplined and responsible Wahyanite.
Once again, we hope that the Wah Yan today, would be better than yesterday.
